I know adapter plates can be made but I don't know what the spline count is so a different transmission could be used. Probably a completely different engine. If the engine has a standard SAE numbered bellhousing then there is a chance you could get the adaptors needed to easily put this thing together. I'm doing a 12 valve Cummins in mine, this site has lots of info on swaps. This same engine in a lb truck will struggle to get 10 mpg.
